May 28, 2008 - Leaves

Inspired by Mark Gilvey's wonderful shot in the garden, I attempted to show a little DOF. Not entirely successful - the bright leaf in front was to be the point of focus, but all I got was the stem.

Very little post-processing of this image.

Didn't match the previz - I initially saw the patch of leaves from the car after I'd backed into the garage. I contemplated a more flattened, distant shot, but realized I'd prefer the short DOF, and had to get close to achive it.
